Local families hosted relatives from Los Angeles and Portales and attended the Sloan family reunion in Lampasas. Reece McCarley party visited Del Rio and saw a bull fight in Villa Acuna Mexico. Everett Bryant is hospitalized in San Angelo. The 16th Everman homecoming drew Jordan relatives. Cub Scouts plan a musical Friday May 11 at the schoolhouse with admission 25 and 15 cents. WSCS met at the church with Mrs. Austin Ordan leading. Continuous ill health noted for Mrs. R. H. Reaves at Bronte Hospital.
Mr and Mrs Jack Sharp and family from Big Spring spent Tuesday night with M L Corley family. Saturday dinners featured LeDrew Arrott Bobby Vaughn Bronte Wayne Arrott Orient. A birthday party for Douglas Ditmore Nettie Hale and Brenda Kay Webb drew a large crowd at the schoolhouse with music and cake.
A son in law and daughter of Mr and Mrs A W Fowler of Tarazan California are referenced in a family note.
Mr and Mrs H L Teems and family of San Angelo joined Sunday dinner with the Marvin Corley family. The Gastons hosted visitors including F C Legg and Bobby and Connie from San Angelo and Floyd Gibson. Budd Stewart Leo San Angelo visited J M Stewart and Gene Stewart with Alene Connor. Robert Browns visitors included Kirk Dyess and family Norton Charlie Brown Brookshire Bill Martin Robert Lee Ben Murphey and Mrs Otis Mayben and family.
Mrs. Effie Hudman spent last week visiting in Robert Lee with her sister Mrs. Ellis Eubanks. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Scott and children of Albany were visitors in the home of his brother Jake Scott and family over the week end.
