Coke County Jr 4-H Team Wins District Judging Contest
The Coke County 4-H junior livestock judging team took first place at the District 7 Judging Contest in San Angelo. Di anna Tinkler finished fourth high indi vidual, Carolyn Simpson and Kerry Gartman placed 10th and 12th among 55 competitors. Lynn Gulley was the fourth team member. Fourteen teams competed. Coke County scored 1228, with Coleman and Gillespie Counties tied for second at 1207. The senior team finished seventh with members Vicki Gartman Marvin Simpson Lesa Lindsey and Denise McClure.
