Rainmakers Get Permit to Work
The Texas Water Development Board approved a rainfall stimulation project for the Colorado River Municipal Water District in Austin. Atmospherics Inc. of Fresno, California will apply silver iodide from April 15 to October 15 over West Texas watersheds including Lake E. V. Spence at Robert Lee and Lake J. B. Thomas in Scurry and Borden counties. Eleven residents opposed the permit.

Easter Seal Appeal Progress in Coke County 1972 Drive
Coke County Easter Seal Representative reports the 1972 appeal is going well under Judge W.W. Thetford. Last year the society aided over 22 000 disabled persons with services for the disabled and their families. Contributions should be sent promptly as the appeal ends Easter Sunday April 2.
