The Coke County field crops planning committee plans several demonstrations in the county this year. Five to six grain sorghum variety tests and four cotton tests are planned, plus two chemical Johnson grass control plots and four chemical brush control plots. If iron chelate is secured, iron chlorosis demonstrations may be set up along with two or more fertilizer demonstrations and early season cotton insect control plots.
