Texas districts fund 217.2 million for foundation program
Austin districts will contribute 217.2 million dollars to Texas basic foundation education program for 1970 71 with local funds about 20 percent of total cost while the State covers the remainder Local fund assignments for 1969 70 total 204.9 million plus 20 percent for new programs The board set a 254 county economic index and mailed tentative weights to superintendents with annual re calculations based on three year averages.
