Services Held for R E Bert Douglas in Lubbock
Funeral services for R E Bert Douglas 90 of Lubbock were held at Alisbury United Methodist Church with a Monday funeral and Silverton Cemetery burial. A native of Fort Chadbourne he died Friday after a long illness in University Hospital Lubbock. He lived in Lubbock since 1945 after leaving Silverton where he served Coke County district clerk and county clerk. He was also a farmer rancher and real estate dealer married in 1918 to Anna Finfey in Silverton. Survivors include his wife a son two sisters five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was related to Mrs Floyd McKigling and Mrs Mae Williams of Brome.
