New Bus Line Promises Expanded Service in West Texas
A World War II veteran led group announces a new bus line aligning with Abilene and East connections. The Abilene View Bus Company stock sold to support wartime service funds, now restoring through service to Camp Barkeley, Robert Lee, Bronte, and Eden. The plan includes more schedules, new equipment, and three daily buses starting February 26 1946. The line aims to serve Abilene San Angelo and surrounding areas with terminal garages in Robert Lee. The new name is Ford Dealers.
