Miss Georgia Ione Wright became the bride of Bob Young of Ballinger in a single ring ceremony read Monday June 20 in the home of Rev. R. W. Blackmon. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Alma Wright of Bronte and wore turquoise polished cotton. After a wedding trip to Monahans, the couple will reside in Ballinger where he is employed by the Texas highway patrol.

Genie Thomas Elected President Of Brownie Scout Troop 206
Genie Thomas was elected president of Brownie Scout Troop 206 at the Legion Hall meeting on June 23.
