The Bronte Enterprise won two awards at the Texas Press Association convention in Galveston last weekend. The paper, published in a town under 3,500 population, earned fifth place in advertising for campaigns from the Butane Service Company. It also placed third in the news pictures contest among similar towns.

Determination of 1950 Wheat Acreage for New Farms
Farmers who did not plant wheat in the past three years but will in 1950 must file a written request for a 1950 wheat acreage allotment with the County Committee.
