Fisher Makes Hydrogen Bomb Film Available Locally
Congressman O C Fisher authorized this paper to announce a 30 minute technicolor film of the Operation Ivy hydrogen bomb test may be borrowed for local showing by writing him in Washington. The 16 mm film, bought from the Atomic Energy Commission, was made by the Air Force in the South Pacific. A sailor wrote home that island disappeared after viewing the blast. Fisher hopes Americans may see the film in schools clubs or other gatherings for programs or special occasions.
