Congratulations to Mr and Mrs A L Cain on the birth of a baby girl May 31. Mrs Cain is with her mother in Colorado City awaiting return. They live with Mrs E B Fletcher. O A Warrington of San Angelo visited Mrs Waldrop and sister Gladys Waldrop. Aubrey Denman and children visited in McCamey last week. Clyde B Sherrod is a 4 H member on a Buchanan Dam tour. Mrs Robert Jones, twin sister of Winnie Barton Waldrop, spent last weekend on the Divide in Nolan County. Mr and Mrs Malcolm Pate and sons visited the Denman home. Mrs Pate is Denman’s sister from Denver City. Grandmother Waldrop and Gladys.
The Hayrick WHO club met with Mrs. W. G. Cresap on June 3 with four members and one visitor. Mrs. Labenske and Miss Waltrop presented a program on Planning a bor Saving Landscape. Ice cream was served. Next meeting with Mrs. Aubrey Denman on June 23 will cover block printing.
Fourteen Home Demonstration leaders and Miss Freeman attended a block printing training in the agent's office on Friday, June 3. Mrs. T. M. Wylie Jr demonstrated linoleum block cutting, inking, and stamping onto fabrics. She said block printing suits blouses pockets skirts borders on skirts tablecloths drapes and cards. Club leaders will present the demonstration to their members at June meetings.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Knierim of Road Forks Arizona are visiting in the Robert Knierim home.
