CRMWD Studies Water Quality Improvement at Lake Spence
Big Spring directors of the Colorado River Municipal Water District plan a $160,000 project to improve Lake Spence by drying two playa lakes. Wells would drain Beals Creek depressions and recirculate water to impound behind a natural dam, aiming to reduce chlorides and sulfates and boost upstream water quality.
