The HUD approves a $248,483 federal loan to the Bronte Housing Authority to build 18 low rent homes eight for elderly residents. Each unit costs about $10,073 with funds covering construction equipment site work utilities design and management space and maintenance. The loan is repaid from long term bond proceeds and includes annual federal contributions to keep rents affordable.
