Peachy Flavor From Fresh Peaches This Summer
Fresh peaches are in good supply and offer peak flavor when tree ripened. Select fruit with creamy white to deep golden skin, avoid greenish hues, and handle gently to prevent bruising. Ripen unripe fruit at room temperature away from heat, then store ripe peaches in the fridge. Include Romanoff sauce and local talent contests as part of county events with free admission and social hour.
