Bronte welcomes Governor Connally on a dedicatory Texas Forts Trails tour through Coke County. About 30 to 40 state officials and dignitaries will join the governor at Bronte City Hall Tuesday morning for a brief reception before touring Fort Chadbourne and the dam project at Robert Lee. Seniors and juniors race events include barrel racing pole bending and flag racing. Events for junior boys include steer riding break away calf roping and barrel racing.
