The Bronte County Park hosts the 1948 Bronte Senior Class reunion this Saturday night, July 26. Barbecue starts at 6 p.m. and attendees are asked to bring a covered dish. The event marks the fourth Saturday in July park gathering. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Box visited Friday with Mrs. Best before continuing to Arlington to see Mr. and Mrs. Harold Small Jr.

John Riker Family Reunion Draws 300 at Sweetwater Legion Hall
More than 300 guests attended the John Riker family reunion at the American Legion Hall in Sweetwater on Sunday. Attendees from Bronte included B. E. Modgling and spouse, Walter Phillips and spouse, Rudy, Carroll Robbins and family, Ronnie, Alonzo, Wanda Spurlock, and J. A. Percifull. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Glenn and children visited Monahans to see Dale Glenn, then traveled to Jal, New Mexico to visit Lonnie Forman and spouse.
