Texas Voter Age Change Seen Likely If Court Fails
Eighteen-year-olds may register to vote in Texas this year unless the U S Supreme Court voids the federal voting rights act. Officials plan to file assurances with federal authorities and may keep teen registrations separate to ease eventual invalidation if the act is struck down. Washington State is expected to test the case first.
