Forthcoming Marriage for Jade Flaine to Omer Thaxton
Jade Flaine, daughter of Mr and Mrs Gemen Flaine, will wed Omer Thaxton son of Mr and Mrs Homer Cook of Blackwell. The couple plan to marry at First Baptist Church in August. Miss Flaine is a Blackwell high school junior, and Mr Cook is a 1963 graduate employed by Dugger and Herring Drilling Co. They will reside in Blackwell. Also noted is an ice cream party for about 25 members of First Baptist Church Young People and Intermediate departments at the local park, hosted by directors C B Barbee and E F Glenn.
