Mrs. Herbert Holland reports a revival meeting at the Baptist Church beginning Friday night August 3 and lasting through Sunday August 12. The revival will be led by Rev. Chester Sylvester, pastor of Paint Rock Baptist Church.
Local families and friends from Artesia New Mexico La Gruta Coleman Ballinger and San Angelo gathered over the Fourth of July visiting relatives in San Angelo Christoval Ballinger Odessa Bronte Tennyson Miles and Corpus Christi. Attendees shared meals picnics and stories including a reunion and rain reports while plans shifted to Houston and other towns.
