4 H Club Turkeys Checked for Gains
More than 500 4-H turkeys were checked for the Dallas Fair and Coke County feasts. Fifteen 4-H boys plan to enter ten turkeys each at the Dallas Fair turkey show in October with aims to show in Abilene and Houston. Plans also include a Coke County one day show prior to the Dallas and Abilene events. Last year profit per turkey averaged $6.50 and prospects look strong.
