Kickapoo Baptist church north of Bronte announces no Sunday night service. The first Sunday of each month will feature an all day program led by Rev. Charley Carroll with 11 am worship, noon dinner on the ground, and afternoon service to save gasoline and rubber. Parishioners are invited to attend and bring lunch baskets.

Norman Wink Riker completes his course in Vocational Agriculture at A and M College and returns home. Friends cheer his return and believe Wink will make good in life as one of Bronte’s boys.
Mrs. D. Y. Roberts returned home Saturday from San Angelo hospital after a knee injury from a fall. The attending physician says her recovery will be permanent. Leslie Carlton of Maverick Texas is notified.
Joe Bailey Luttrell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cullen Luttrell, has become ill but is improving. Mrs. Luttrell has been in San Angelo with the infant during his illness.
