Funeral Rites Held Here for Jesse J. Hoots
Services for Jesse James Hoots aged 58 who died at work on Tuesday were conducted Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the Baptist Church with burial in Robert Lee Cemetery. Rev. Horace Bloodworth officiated. Methodists Seek Parsonage Funds for Bronte Church
D. K. Glenn chairman of a fund raising committee reports progress toward building a new parsonage for the First Methodist Church in Bronte. Donations have begun, with Hayrick Methodist Church having donated over 2700 dollars after disbanding. The old parsonage is for sale as bids are invited.
