Miss Beth Johnson presented My Responsibility to Freedom at the Euterpean Club gathering held at Mrs. Lewis Johnsons home. She placed first in the county and second in the district. The nominating committee proposed next years officers. A refreshment plate accompanied by members and guests followed the meeting including Dr. Irene Platt and several locals. Mae Williams of Odessa visited relatives in the area.
