Bronte Longhorns top tournament with Eden Bulldogs final win
Bronte Longhorns captured their tournament by beating Eden Bulldogs 35 to 2 in the final Saturday night. Water Valley claimed rNeton finals with a 29 to 17 win over Menard as other teams Wall Miles Ballinger and Menard competed. About 200 fans attended with ten players named to the all tournament teams from Eden Water Valley Bronte Menard and Ballinger.

Study Club to Assist Polio Drive in Bronte
Junior study club members voted to aid the Coke county March of Dimes campaign. Bronte Diversity club joins the effort. Polio literature was shared and an eight person committee was named to canvass the West side of Bronte house to house. Committee members include Mrs. R. T. Caperton and nine others.
