Miss Lillian Strickland and Robert Edward Porter married in a church ceremony attended by family and friends. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs Guy Strickland of Bronte, wore a wool dress. the groom is son of Mr and Mrs H B Porter of Valentine. Guests included attendants Mrs Mickey Pierce and Glenn Snodgrass. The couple plans residence in San Antonio, Texas as Porter advances in work at San Angelo State University.
