Fatal shooting and pickup crash linked to San Angelo incident
Shortly after 1:30 am Saturday Peace Justice Ava Smith handled a case where Dodson was found dead in a San Angelo driveway after being shot in the head. Miss Burch directed responders as Dodson’s body was moved from beneath a pickup. Investigators found .30-30 cartridges at the scene and Donalson was charged later that afternoon.

Rees Brother-In-Law Douglas Rees Dies in El Paso
Douglas Rees 60 of El Paso died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday in an El Paso hospital. Funeral and burial held Jan 3 in El Paso. A Center Point native, he worked over 40 years for Southern Pacific Railway. Survived by wife Elsie, daughter Carolyn Williams of Salt Lake City, sister Doris Frye Amarillo, brother Rev. G. K. Rees Webb City, Mo, and other relatives.
