Funeral services for James C. Cobb 86 were held at 2 p m Sunday at Robert Lee Baptist Church. Burial followed in Robert Lee Cemetery directed by Williams Funeral Home. Cobb a former Robert Lee resident died last Thursday in Farmington New Mexico. He was born February 18 1881 in Runnels County and lived in Coke County most of his life working as a farmer stockman. Survivors include his wife a son Monroe Cobb of Bronte four daughters and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pallbearers listed included Will Percifull Frankie Percifull and others.

Farmers To Receive ASC Payment Report For 1967
ASCS announces a new reporting service for farmers with 1967 payments under ACP cotton feed grain wheat and other direct programs. About three million farmers will get mailed reports later in January aiding tax preparation and IRS filing. Errors should be reported to the nearest county ASCS office.

Collier Service Held At Ralls
Funeral services for William Dewey Collier 70 of Ralls were held December 20 at 2 p.m. in the Ralls First Methodist Church with Rev. H B Coggin and Rev. Conrad Ryan officiating. Collier died December 19 at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock from a cerebral hemorrhage. He was born August 1 1897 in Edith. He married Grace Truman Prewitt in Bronte October 24 1916. He owned Cap Rock gin 1926 to 1953 and later ranching, raised registered quarter horses and thoroughbreds, and was co-owner of Cap Rock Cattle Co. Survivors include wife Grace. daughter Mrs Don Austin of Lubbock. son Gerald Collier mayor of Ralls. brother Dan Collier of Sterling City. four sisters Mrs Mae Vandyke Detroit Mich Mrs Orlette Shyrover Mrs Morgan Jett and Mrs Bill Meeks San Angelo. and four grandchildren.
