Mrs. Edo Nunnally Jr and her son David left Fort Worth by plane for Miami to visit her mother Mrs Margaret Mc Laughlin for several weeks. Two of Mrs Nunnallys sisters are also in Miami making a family reunion. The writer and his mother brought the two to Fort Worth Sunday and returned to Bronte Monday night.
Mrs. Walter Moore hosted the Ft Chadbourne WHO Club on February 18 at her home. Members learned how to make soap from waste fats and meats. A Spanish plate of homemade hot tamales was served to Mmes. Charlie Boecking Doughty McDonald Buddie Kirkland Lee Parks Jeasie Parker Sam Lasswell and two guests Mrs. Dera Kirkland of Bronte and Mrs. Walter Johnson of Ft Chadbourne. The next meeting will be at Mrs. Boecking’s home on March 4.
Rev. C. R. Blake of Bronte and Fred Blake of Robert Lee head to Goldthwaite for the District 16 Baptist General Convention of Texas. All church workers including Sunday School teachers BTU and WMU will be involved.

H A Springer, Coke County Red Cross chair man, says the annual drive will run through March. Donations can be left at West Texas Utilities, with Springer, or at Robert Lee Observer or with A J Kirkpatrick. He urges contributors to give generously to push the drive over the top.
Mrs Harold Good of Kansas sister of Mrs B E Modgling joined Bronte area kin for a reunion at S A Kiker home. Attendees included Orb Kiker Betty Robbins Modgling Compton family from Rotan San Angelo Wall and Bronte relatives with Elmer Modglings from Weatherford visiting earlier.
Among Angelo visitors last Saturday were John and J. B. Clark Dorothy Martin and the newlywed hikers she is the former Dorothy Lee Wilburn Miller of San Angelo and formerly of Washington D. C. was a Bronte visitor last Friday Brother E. B. Fletcher declared his wasn't the first wedding in Coke County but the first church wedding If it were the first wedding Ed chuckled folks would think I was really an old timer.
