Student Janelle Hill to Perform with San Angelo Symphony
Thirteen year old Janelle Hill, pupil of Mrs. E R Krever, will play the First Movement of Mendelssohn in D minor with the San Angelo Symphony Monday afternoon February 24 at the city auditorium. Her family and Bronte Robert Lee students are invited to a Children’s Concert with a reserved section. Tickets are 25 cents for students and 50 cents for adults.

8-Year-Old Thetford Readmitted to Dallas Hospital
Douglas Alan Thetford eight year old son of Mr and Mrs W W Thetford of Bronte was readmitted Friday February 14 to the Scottish Rite Hospital for Crippled Children in Dallas He had been home for several weeks after surgery in Dallas earlier this year.

Mrs. Barney Modgling hosted the WSCS gathering on Monday February 10 at First Methodist Church. Devo by S A Riker and program chair J A Percifull led the meeting with Lin Loeffler singing Open My Eyes. New Lions Club luncheon captains were named Carroll Robbins Edna Butner T F Sims Cake mints and ice cream were served to several members including Loeffler Riker Percifull Nora Bridges and Sims. Mr and Mrs Gene Walker have moved to San Angelo where he works in Standard Times stereotyping. Mrs Walker resumes high school by Texas Tech correspondence and will graduate in May with the local senior class. he plans to enroll at San Angelo College later this year.
