Bronte Longhorns beat Christoval 49 to 6 with Rees 22 and Solomon 21 for Christoval. Bronte B ousted Christoval 40 to 4 as Benny Corley 17 led. Norton Eagles won 72 to 60 over Bronte as Morgan 28 and Dismore 19 starred. Bronte girls beat Norton 58 53 with Jo Gentry 48 points. Grade school Bronte fell to Robert Lee 29 33 while Bronte girls won 35 28.
F. C. Oden reported Wednesday that 2402.80 has been deposited for the 1957 March of Dimes. Bronte area contributed 1046.66, Robert Lee and west side excluding Silver 1045.40, Silver 310.74, with more money expected from Silver. Final repeat due Friday. Oden praised donors and workers for their contributions.
