J C Sunday School Christmas Party Held at Fellowship Hall
The J C Sunday School held a Christmas party on December 18 in the church Fellowship Hall. Decorations by Collins Sayner J F Hughes and Floyd Crank featured a silver tree with blue balls and a revolving light, a Santa on top, carols, a donna arrangement on the piano, red candles and greenery on tables, and red shoes and Santas as decorations. A covered dish supper followed gift exchanges with Rev Murrell Johns and his wife as special guests. Attendees included the Johns family and friends, plus visitors from Blythe California and San Angelo. Christmas Day plans include visits by Wynne family members to Merkel and Butman households.
