Community Notices and Holiday Events in Blackwell Area
Local families gather for illness updates and visits across Comanche and Houston. Christmas programs at Blackwell Baptist and Methodist churches, a Home Demonstration party in Sweetwater, and a gift tea for Miss Helen Chew highlight community, with holidays prompting class dismissals and travel. A stock show set for January 1 at the Blackwell school bus barn, plus weekend visits from area residents, round out the page.
