Lone Star Asks For Price Raise
Lone Star Gas Company has filed with the Railroad Commission of Texas for an upward adjustment of the city gate charge from 30 to 40 cents per thousand cubic feet. The increase would re establish the pre 1942 rate due to higher wellhead costs and other operating expenses. Residential and commercial rates would not be affected immediately, but future rate filings may follow. Bronte is served by Lone Star.
