Funeral services for Henry B. Ford 56 of Midland were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at New Nie W Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with graveside rites at 4 p.m. in City of Lubbock Cemetery. Born September 24 1915 in Norton he lived in Lubbock 27 years before moving to Midland in 1965. Firemen Busy During Week at West Fort Chadbourne Field
The Bronze Volunteer Fire Department fought multiple blazes this week beginning with a tank battery fire at a Humble base in West Fort Chadbourne Field. A Tuesday morning house fire at Pete Puentes’s home caused interior damage. Wednesday saw grass fires north of town near the O L Pittman place and Wylie Ranch, with several fires growing large before extinguished.
