Coke County SCS News Details Complete Soil Plan
Helen Harris Weaver completed a full soil and water conservation plan on her 14 200 acre ranch. Coke County SCS leader C N Webb announced the plan includes a three pasture deferred rotation grazing system and a 3 000 cubic yard pond with 2 800 ton diversion terraces to improve range vegetation and water distribution. The pond and terraces on Bo St George Tucker’s land near Roberta were staked by SCS personnel. Two lines of level channel terraces are part of the plan five miles north of Bronte as applied by No J Pastor.
