The Blackwell Home Demonstration club met at Mrs Walter King’s home on Tuesday morning December 1. President Mrs Mack Cotten welcomed one visitor, Mrs Bob Carter, and members shared recipes and samples of a new cookie or candy. Each member spoke of a Christmas tradition at home. The Christmas luncheon is set for December 15 at Mrs A J Wells.
Denman the treasurer urged members in arrears to settle back dues or pay a new membership fee to rejoin. Students must pay dues to rejoin. Scotch match winners were Latimer McCutchen Alexander Richards. Second place went to Low Bell Landers. Attendees to Nolan County party included Cotten Ham Ware Sweet Barrett Alderman King Wells Brownfield Bickley others.
