Out of Darkness film shown at PTA meeting
The Bronze PTA will show the film Out of Darkness on mental health at the regular meeting next Tuesday. Mrs. Ralph Richard will chair and the second grade will present a Christmas program. Jim Bennett of Wyeth Laboratories will introduce the film, praised for its extensive TV coverage.

Ballinger Bearcats Rough Up Bronte In Two Games
Ballinger A team won 89 to 34 led by Delbert Wylie with 26 points. Ballinger B edged Bronte B 46 to 45 in a thriller as Dankworth led Ballinger with 20 and Chillie Wrinkle scored 17 for Bronte. Bennie Corley added 10 for Bronte. Bronte planned to face Ballinger B in Miles tournament play Wednesday.

County Agent Advises Control of Predatory Animals
County agents report recurring requests on coon and predator control. Trapping has been sparse in two years except where livestock and feed losses occur. When trapping fails, poison baits using 55 grains of strychnine in fat are advised, with dogs kept away during baiting. Community-wide efforts show rapid gains within a week.
