School Children Should Have Vision Checked
The Canyon Reef Optometric Society urged parents and teachers to watch for vision problems in children returning to school. Dr. J A Nesbit cited symptoms such as avoiding near work, losing place while reading, holding work close, extra head movements, and poor posture, noting uncorrected vision problems contribute to about half of reading failure per a University of Chicago study.
