Maverick Revival Concludes at Maverick Baptist Church
The three by revival at Maverick Baptist Church ended Sunday night with Rev. Charles Mitchell of Carlsbad delivering the sermon and Henry Pinkston of Abilene leading singing. Pastor Rev. John Early preached the 11 acm service and left for Del Rio to start his fourth teaching year. Weekend visitors included Mr and Mrs Dale Wortham and children of Big Spring and Mr and Mrs Cap Holland and Mr and Mrs Tommy Brown and girls of San Angelo. Holland family hosted Jim Bass Ford employees at a barbecue with about 40 attendees.
