The Baseball Boosters call for a membership drive next Monday at 7 p.m. in City Hall followed by canvassing. Bill Jackson serves as president. Membership costs 5 dollars yearly to fund equipment, a Pee Wee team, and park improvements. All local boys are encouraged to join even if their parents are not members.
Mrs F S Higginbotham returns from a week with daughter and son in law in Albuquerque New Mexico. Her daughter Mrs Sayner hosts a birthday dinner attended by four more daughters Mrs Jack Hamilton Dallas Mrs Warren Hanes Crosbyton Mrs Bill Meyer Houston and Mrs Betsy Hughes Houston. Another daughter Mrs Della Fitzhugh could not attend.
