Bronte High School cheerleaders Janet Aperton Kreta Kiker Su Lynn Henry Melody Holcombe Sharon Mackey Long Kiker and daughter attended a Dallas weeklong cheerleading school on the S M A campus. Kathy drove the girls to Dallas Sunday and on the return trip they visited Mr Riker's aunt and uncle, Mr and Mrs J K Grissom in Dublin.

Constitutional Amendment Seeks Property Tax Exemption for Charitable Hospitals
The Legislature proposes amending the Constitution to exempt property of charitable organizations that operate free hospitals and provide medical care to the indigent in Texas. It requires annual expenditures of $1.8 million and applies to counties with populations over 1.2 million. The amendment becomes effective after voter approval at the November 1986 election.
