Formal Opening of Karen-Gay Hospital August 5 1947
Dr John Roe Harris in charge brings wide experience after service with a Mobile Surgical unit in the Pacific. Native of Oklahoma with degrees from Oklahoma Baptist University and Baylor, he has worked in San Antonio Houston and Callas area. The hospital is named for his daughters Belna Karen and Nota Grav l Rippetoe and the Bronte Pharmacy owners divide time between store and hospital.
