A reader writes to the editor with a personal dilemma about selling his Jersey cow. He notes declining milk, high prices, and the fear of future costs tied to farming, fences, and neighborly damage. He asks whether to sell now or wait for higher prices.
The W. M. U. met Tuesday afternoon at the church for a Bible study. The next meeting will be next Tuesday at 2 o clock with Miles W. M. U. ladies presenting the program. Mrs Luther Nixon visited her mother in Novice Sunday afternoon. Mrs Willard Caudle visited her daughter and family in San Angelo Saturday. Mr and Mrs Wilklie McNutt of Miles visited Jim Clark Saturday.
Sunday through Friday saw numerous visits among Bronte and surrounding communities. Homer Clark of Big Spring joined the Bronte area for the Bronte Enterprise night, with guests including the Duffy and Holland families visiting and hosting activities across Bronte, Andrews, Ballinger, and nearby towns.
