Blackwell Juniors Entertain Seniors with Lavender Banquet
The Blackwell High School Junior Class hosted the Senior Class of 1956 for a April 7 banquet in the Blackwell gym. The Lavender and Old Lace theme featured lavender nosegays, pink candles, and doily decorations. Dr. W T Walton spoke, Harold Armstrong presided, and Miss Elian da Davies performed with music. Food prepared by juniors and mothers included ham, yams, green beans, and congealed salad.
