Grade School Wins First in District Meet
Bronte High School and Junior High track teams placed third while Bronte grade school took first at the Inter scholastic League district meet in San Angelo. Dee Arrott led grade school with 16 points, and Robert L. Moore topped high school with 12% points. Several Bronte athletes earned event titles as Mertzon, Norton, Wall and Christoval followed in standings. All first and second place winners advance to regional competition. Wind hampered runners.
