A Phoenix survey of Bristol factories shows growing jobs. Collings and Aikman Corp. runs three plants with full equipment on a three shift schedule. US Rubber reports 40 new workers this month bringing total to 600 and expands paid vacation for longer service. Parrigon Toys adds over 25 girls and 100 total new hires. Bristol Dress and Paramede Shoe plants also cut schedules while Bristol Manufacturing maintains 86 girls and three men.
