Five Bristol youths arrested for Metacom avenue looting
Five Bristol youths aged 9 to 14 were sent to Lockanosset School by Judge Benjamin F. Lindemuth while awaiting final disposition on October 16. They are charged with looting the Maurice Phinney home during a vacation absence. Silverware and jewelry worth over $500 were stolen, most of which has been recovered.

Benefit Supper Draws Many Attendees at St Mary’s Parish

Bruno, star Colt Memorial high school athlete and Bristol Train of Ar tillery nine third baseman, was named circuit MVP in a contest by the Olympian Club. Weather permitting the first annual DeWolf Farm horse show will take place tomorrow afternoon in the front field of Mr and Mrs Harry DeW Allen at Poppasquash. Boy Struck By Auto on High Street Injures Matthew Iacovelli
Matthew Iacovelli of Bourn Avenue was struck by an automobile driven by Vincent Malafronte of 686 Hope Street on High Street opposite the First Baptist Church.
