Lists sixty four taxpayers with taxes of 100 or more and one hundred with 50 to 99. A 5 percent discount applies for payments by October 1, with a 1 percent monthly add-on thereafter. State costs have risen twentyfold since 1830 as Rhode Island population doubled. Rubber footwear production at National Rubber Company plants averages about five thousand pairs per day.
