Water restored by Thursday after Bristo l flood emergencies
The Bristol County Water Company reports drinking water could be back by next Thursday following a tidal flood that flooded the Kirkemuit Reservoir and pumping station. Salt water intrusion required shutdowns in Bristol, Warren, and Barrington with emphasis on chlorination and cautions against drinking or raw-vegetable washing until authorities warn otherwise.
