Bristol Public Evening School opens October 5 offering Pre Induction courses for men likely to enter the Army. Registration next week at Colt Memorial High School from 7 to 8 30, four nights weekly through Christmas. Courses cover aviation science automotive mechanics electricity and machines with emphasis on training for higher ratings and promotion in the armed services. National Defense classes for factory workers include machine shop and blueprint reading. Regular courses in typing bookkeeping shorthand and domestic subjects also offered.
